System: Host: localhost.localdomain Kernel: 4.4.121-pclos1 x86_64 bits: 64 Desktop: KDE Plasma 5.12.5 I'm wondering if there's a config file out there somewhere that I could copy from a working PCLOS installation (hard drive from another laptop installation for instance) and paste into a PCLOS installation on the Dells to workaround this issue. Has anyone else run across this? I've used Kfind to search for *touchpad* and there are a bunch of files, but none seemed to help me. I've Googled and haven't found anything I could use.

I've also installed PCLOS on another laptop (Lenovo T510 in this case), removed the hard drive, put it into the Dell E6430 or E6440, and the touchpad works correctly. I've tried other Linux distros (Mint, MX-17 & others) and the touchpad works correctly. Touchpad still does not work correctly no matter what PCLOS KDE I try.

I've also installed these using a wireless mouse & keyboard. I've booted from several of my PCLOS recent KDE remasters and from the PCLOS KDE 2018.6 live CD image. The touchpad configuration in system settings changes nothing regarding clicking. The buttons above and below the touchpad work correctly. The cursor moves correctly when the finger is moved on the touchpad. Two finger click may do just about anything. Single finger click does not work at all. Recently purchased 3 Dell Latitude E6430 laptops and one E6440 laptop from ebay.
